Vineyard lies at 440 meters from sea level. Soils are dominantly alluvial (seven different types of alluvial soils have been identified). The climate is mostly dry - rain is more expected during May-early September.
Merab - Zangaura's winemaker is using the irrigation system to keep his vineyard safe from drought.
